Today's Date
Genealogy is my FAVORITE pastime. I love history and
research, and this hobby gives me both, plus it also gives a sense of
connection to the past. Studying the stories of your
ancestors can make history come alive, and many times a
tale can inspire you to accomplish something great yourself.
The study of
genealogy is a unique hobby that involves research about those who came before you -- which can then be passed on
to your descendants. As someone I know once stated, "It
is necessary to know where we came from in order to see where
