Any time somebody decides to sell their home the cost of hiring a professional real estate agent is one of the biggest bottom line factors, and that is doubly true during a real estate recession like the one faced by Americans at the moment.
Real estate brokerage fees contribute a substantial portion of overall costs and may be the most expensive line item charge on a real estate sales closing statement, so homeowners should carefully evaluate any potential cost-cutting alternative.

as Only Openly Gay Male Olympian
Diver Matthew Mitcham says he was very surprised he was the only openly gay man in the Olympic village. In fact, a little sad. The gold medallist who won hearts with his incredible final dive at Beijing is proud of his sexuality but understands it can be a harder wrestle for other gay athletes to "come out" in the public arena.
Mitcham was the only man among 10,500 Olympic athletes to publicly say he was gay. "I was actually very surprised I was the only 'out' male at the Olympic Games," Mitcham said yesterday.

and Cooked His Thigh With Herbs and Olive Oil'
Anthony Morley, 36, then attempted to eat a piece of Damian Oldfield's flesh before walking to a nearby takeaway and telling staff he had killed someone, Leeds Crown Court was told.
Morley, who worked as a chef, also cut a piece of 33-year-old Mr Oldfield's chest and nipple and left a bank card over the wound, it was claimed.
Andrew Stubbs, prosecuting, said the two men had been involved some kind of relationship in the past and that Morley was troubled by his sexuality.

Is a Century Old
The AIDS virus has been circulating among people for about 100 years, decades longer than scientists had thought, a new study suggests.
Genetic analysis pushes the estimated origin of HIV back to between 1884 and 1924, with a more focused estimate at 1908.
Previously, scientists had estimated the origin at around 1930. AIDS wasn't recognized formally until 1981 when it got the attention of public health officials in the United States.

Internet company Google will publicly oppose an attempt to ban same-sex marriage in California.
Co-founder Sergey Brin said in a blog posting that the company, which is headquartered in the state and employs nearly 20,000 people, sees the issue as one of equality.
It is unclear if Google will contribute to the campaign opposing Proposition 8.
In the past weeks Hollywood celebritities Brad Pitt and Steven Spielberg have donated to the campaign.

at Southern Comfort
Jacob Anderson-Minshall
“I’ve been in the family for so long—nearly 30 years—it’s home to me. Straight, to me, is a lifestyle I just can’t relate to even though I present fairly straight.” C. Michael Woodward identifies as heteroqueer; “It means I’m a man who enjoys the company of women—although that has been known to be flexible—but lives almost exclusively in LGBTQ social circles”
The forty-five-year-old is a committed LGBT activist. The former executive director of Southern Arizona Gender Alliance (SAGA) says when he first joined the organization, he went “everywhere there was anything LGBT happening, to address trans inclusion, both online and in person. I just kept showing up everywhere and talking about my experiences with invisibility as a hetero transsexual man with a lesbian history still living intentionally in the LGBT community.”
