On that day ACC started ministry in a second location and held its first service at the Hampton Middle School.The Hampton site will be part of the Apohaqui church under a multi-site model of ministry, but will have its own campus pastor, Tony Reicker. In this way the congregation will operate in two locations.Senior Pastor Kevin Vincent explained that they chose Hampton because of the distance people were driving to attend the church. “While people are willing to drive to a church that meets their needs, they most definitely prefer finding that church in the community in which they live.”Continue Reading...Alberton Baptist Church Breaks Ground Alberton Ground Breaking CeremonyOn Saturday, September 13 2008, Alberton Baptist Church broke ground for a new church building. The new church will replace the existing one, which is too small for the growing congregation located in western PEI.Pastor Ross Morrison read scripture and shared a brief history of the church. The two girls gave their personal testimony in front of 60 church members, friends and family before being immersed by Rev. Christopher Greer. This marks the third baptismal celebration in the Port Hawkesbury congregation since Rev.
