ATA Careers: Looking for New Executive Director
Recently, we bid a warm farewell to Mary Lester who had served as our Executive Director since 2001. After working for the ATA since its inception in 1987, Mary decided to seek a new direction to exercise her skills and talents. Now we are looking for a new Executive Director with their own unique abilities to lead the organization. Please see the Job Announcement page if you are interested.
Pugh Family Wins the ATA "Envision a World"
Public Service Announcement Contest!
As part of its 20th Year Anniversary, the ATA launched a public service announcement competition to build awareness about the potential of assistive technology for people with disabilities.
We are pleased to announce McKenna and Lisa Pugh of Madison, Wisconsin, as the winners of the contest and the accompanying $1000 prize.

The 2008 Let's Play Toy Guide Published!
The Toy Industry Foundation has released it's 2008 Let's Play Toy Guide.
This Toy Guide features over 100 toys for children with disabilites that were hand tested by ATA Centers: Signal Center, NEAT Center at Oak Hill, UCP of San Diego, TASC in Hunstville, ATTIC, and Bluegrass Technology Center.
We would like to thank everyone who participated in the creation of this guide.
