EXPERIENCE AS A JUDGE Thomas A. Dickerson served six years, 1994-1999, as a City Court Judge in Yonkers, New York and was then elected to the Westchester County Court, 2000-2009. Judge Dickerson was selected to serve on the Westchester County Family Court for the year 2000. Judge Dickerson has written and published over 64 Decisions, many of which are described below. Judge Dickerson is also the author of two legal treatises, TRAVEL LAW and CLASS ACTIONS: THE LAW OF 50 STATES, and over 170 articles on Consumer Law Issues. EXPERIENCE AS AN ATTORNEY Thomas A. Dickerson practiced law in New York City from 1975 to 1993 at which time he became a Judge. During his years as a practicing attorney he specialized in litigation, travel law, class actions and consumer law. He was admitted to practice in New York State, First Department, 1975, and before several Federal Courts including the U.S. Supreme Court, 1983; U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit, 1982; Southern District of New York, 1975; Eastern District of New York, 1975; and the Northern District of New York, 1992.
