Epoché: A Journal for the History of Philosophy
Walter
A. Brogan, Editor
Epoché considers the history and tradition of philosophy to
be an essential part of contemporary philosophical discourse. Open to
all areas and thematics arising out of the history of philosophy, this
peer-reviewed journal welcomes articles that take up historical, critical,
and deconstructive approaches to the great philosophical debates surrounding
religion and God, metaphysics, questions of human knowledge and conduct,
and of language and aesthetics. The journal is particularly interested
in articles that offer a continental or hermeneutic approach, but is committed to a pluralist orientation and dedicated to an exchange
of diverse ideas and approaches. Epoché also welcomes submissions
on the philosophy of history and the question of how to read the history
of philosophy.
Electronic access to Epoché is provided through POIESIS:
Philosophy Online Serials and the fulltext of all back issues is available to institutions
that subscribe both to the journal and POIESIS. Tables of contents for these issues, searchable by author

Abstracts and tables of contents are available through EBSCO's Current

Epoché is indexed in Academic Search Premier,
