There's nothing wrong with anger, even if there's everything wrong with rage. Nothing wrong with anger? It's how we experience it and express it that counts. If we try to deny or bury it, it eats away at us and kills us, or it explodes and harms others.

An ultra-sensitive man in an abusive relationship may go into "overwhelm," when you feel your physical, mental and emotional systems can't tolerate any more. It almost feels like you're being pounded on. You want to run away. You then kick into "survival mode." You may want to read Ultra-Sensitive Men and Abusive Relationships.
