As I pace, absorbing the hurt, once again desperately searching for somewhere to place it so I may functionally go on with this day, fighting this overwhelming need to shout, "IT IS NOT ALL IN MY IMAGINATION." "IT" being my mothers ever so disguised yet sometimes blatant gestures of cruelty and selfishness. Most all would undoubtedly not see my mother in this light, even if they did the chance of risking friendship with her would outweigh any good feelings of helping to right the wrongs. It baffles me how one woman so loving and caring towards many she encounters, so liked by so many, could be so cruel and unjust towards her own daughter. "I don't know how to raise girls," is the rarely given reason, for the bit of herself, she has painfully seen slip through the bucket of sand her head sets so deeply in. This admission of guilt, ever so small, is wonderfully enormous to me and my "IMAGINATION."This is not so much a site to psycho-analyze yourself or myself, it is merely a place to begin the creation of a book, a book to inform all who visit of "ITS" ever so real existence in many of our lives. A book to let all who seek it's comfort know that "IT" is not in their imagination either. As cruel and unjust the treatment, you are not alone.In the interest of this book and my own eagerness to confirm the existence of disguised or blatantly poor treatment by other mothers towards their daughters or sons, I wish that you would email me with your stories, your comments, or incidences however long, that best describes your mothers disorder :). With outstanding compassion, all are welcome here. You might include any thought to all thoughts, from her treatment towards you, her denials, games, accusations, her sacrificing of you, her deliberate behaviors towards you, her possible healing, to your hurts, pains, your feelings of screaming from the mountain tops only to find you have yet to be heard. You might describe the way you have learned to lessen the hurt or how the hurt and anger continue. You might include any incident or incidences that have mildly affected or ever so profoundly damaged your life. You might have an understanding of why these pains have been delivered upon you or perhaps you may have a simple poem. From any or all of your "ITS" to any or all "IMAGINATION."Please indicate in your email if you would like your writings to remain anonymous, I will certainly honor your request. For those of you who do not wish to remain anonymous please feel free to include your name, your city, your mothers name, your mothers number :) etc...
