Over the past eight years, the Golden Opportunities site has become one of the most trusted senior information resources on the web. Are you missing Armond? As Armond continues his challenge of upgrading our Ohio government as the State Representative for the 8th district, he's had to take a step back from the television show. We welcome Laurie Steiner, Armond's law partner, as a substitute host while Armond makes his bid for re-election. While you may miss his smile each Sunday morning for the next few months, rest assured that Armond has not left us! He continues to be a driving force on the content and information presented on "Golden Opportunities" and expresses his confidence in Laurie to deliver that information in the same friendly, down-home manner you've come to expect from our show.  In November of 2006, Armond was elected to the Ohio House of Representatives to serve the 8th District. Sitting on several committees (Finance Committee, Judiciary Committee and Health Care Access and Affordability Committee) and as ranking member of the Financial Institutions, Real Estate & Securities Committee, Armond's priorities for his term are: Providing access to affordable health care for all Ohioans Creating school funding that is fair, constitutional and broad-based; and which does not rely primarily on property taxes  Promoting economic development in Northeast Ohio and throughout the State.
