Welcome to Battlefield Anomalies!
This site is dedicated to all those of you out there who would like
to learn a little more about military history. Although I do not
profess to be the font of all knowledge when it comes to wars and
conflicts, I do hope that the battles and campaigns, as well as the
thumb nail sketches of great commanders will go some way to improving
the present tarnished image that all things military seems to have
acquired.
Battles shape history, and great commanders, like great poets and
artists have their own place in the world of creativity- The Art of
War. To all those who consider that war is a curse on humanity I can
say only this, given the fact that I too share this view, over the
millennia the human race has never found a viable solution to armed
confrontation.
I hope you will enjoy the articles on this site and if you have any
comments, please feel free to contact me with your ideas and
criticisms; that is what it's all about!
