Happy New Year!  Auld Lang SyneCan you believe it is 1999 already?! Time sure does go by, doesn't it? The past year has bestowed many, many blessings upon our family, but we have also had our share of sorrows, too. So many memories for only 365 days past. So many, many prayers have been answered, and yes, thank God for unanswered prayer as well.This will be a year of anticipation, no doubt, as we all approach the new millenium. Will everyone survive the Y2K computer glich? If there are no updates here at Rainbow's End after December 31, 1999, you'll know ours didn't! *giggle* What will the new millenium hold for us? I'm sure the media will be constantly updating us on that one! I, myself, am not all that excited about the new millenium. A lot can change in a matter of hours let alone 365 days, so I will continue to travel down the path I'm used to - taking each day as God sees fit to give them to me.Any New Year's Resolutions, my friend? As in past years, I will continue to strive for patience and try to control my "redheaded temper". I will also strive to keep the Spirit of Christmas in my heart all 365 days of 1999, strive to walk in the Light, strive to help those who have not, and to be a friend to the friendless. Just for today, I'll try not to improve anybody except myself.We know so much more about nutrition and how much exercise and sensible living can extend life and make it more enjoyable; so just for today, I'll take good care of my body so I can celebrate many more happy new years.Just for today, I will have a program.
