The LIFE foundation was formed in to help others in need with their paranormal situations, as we were in 1992. At that time, we could not find an  organization that we could turn to. I did not own a computer and all I could do was go to the book stores and find any book on the paranormal and read it to find help. Seeing all the books that were out there I found myself really confused as one says one thing and another was the total opposite. I was afraid I would be called crazy or I would not  be believed. Those feelings are hard to deal with when you are experiencing the Paranormal. When we did find Investigators that was another situation in itself. After going through a bad experience with the Investigators, I formed the LIFE Foundation to prevent others from having to go through years of fear and aloneness, as our family did. As well as being victimized  from Investigators who promised  they would help only to want personal gain in the media or status in the Paranormal Feild or that big case they want so bad.  Please do NOT think all investigators are like the Investigators I experienced, there are some great investigators in the field who I had the opportunity to Investigate with and get to know. Thousands of families have messaged me on how blessed they were to finally have help with their situation. Please remember You are never alone. Below you will find a short version of our story. The ONLY email for the LIFE Foundation is dajones1315@aol.comThank YOU!  OUR STORY: Our story began with a scream from my then five-year-old son many years ago. He was "afraid of the man who kept trying to touch him". Of course, this 'man' would disappear as he would scream.  This man turned out to be my Grandfather who passed away when I was 10 years old. He screamed when he saw the picture of him at his grandparents home. As the days and years progressed so did the haunting activities. Every day there was Constant whispering in the rooms we were in and rooms we were not in.  and/or talking were heard by all the family members, whether we were alone or together. My son would see, hear and feel entities everyday since he could talk.  Then we  began to witness my son being slapped or hit by unseen hands. Consider the anguish of watching your child scream and thrash around as cuts and scrathes appear of their own volition. We all felt so helpless. I felt helpless and yet a strengh would come and I would scream and do my best to help him. He was so scared.We were all frightened and felt so alone - where could we turn to for help? There seemed to be no resources available that we could access for help. There was nothing in the phone book on the paranormal. I did not own a computer. We were hesitant to share our story, afraid that we would be thought of as insane. But knowing with confidence that it was not our imagination as the shaking of the the beds and the smashing of our possessions, moving pictures, throwing objects around the room, banging and pounding on the walls all night, and during the day that we finally decided to turn to our church, only to be shunned and turned away. My children were attending Sunday school. I was doing what a good mother should be doing and yet the ones who I thought who would listen and help did not. They even told me they do not bless homes anymore. I could tell they were a bit nervous. One of the nuns in the office would talk to me about some of the things Michael would know about and talk about that she was interested in hearing and yet afraid of what he was saying. The activity continued and finally got to the point where it was keeping all of us awake night after night. We were sleeping together and the kids were begging me to stay awake until they slept. It was hard for me as I was afraid as well. This helped me gain a lot of self strengh. So, we earnestly and urgently continued in our search for help. We tried every avenue we could think of, only to find one dead end after another. Finally, we found two Paranormal Investigators to help us. They did substantiate our claims and were successful in photographing several ghosts while also managing to get tape recordings of Spirits.As time would go on my son experienced numerous new things and situations that I started bringing him to an array of DRs I thought how would I know if some was paranormal and some was not. I took him to the head neurologist in CT who did an array of tests brain waves, and even gave him what he called a Micky Fin as they needed him out for the test. After all these tests he refered me to Paranormal help. I took my son to this doctor when anything new was happpening and one day he sat me down and told me to stop bringing him in, it is not medical help he needed. I brought Michael to Psychiatrist, eye Doctors and on and on. He was cleard Medically. And hear is the DR saying no more, he sees ghost. As a mom this was good he was not ill and yet somewhere in the back of my mind I thought if there was a pill to stop this It may have been easier for him. One time when Mike was in a Paralzed state sometimes this state  lasts for up to 6 hours. I was into a few hours of trying to get him to move and I was tired. My father was over helping him come out of it and he could not. I could see the tears streaming down my sons face, He could hear us but could not move. I called 911 I had been dealing with this almost every morning or when He relaxed. He was missing so much school, I was afraid. They came and put smelling salts under his nose, and nothing. This upset the paramedics they rushed my son quickly to the hosp. The DR rushed in to the emergency room with my sons records checked him and asked if she could call in a priest. This is a hosp. They are asking for a preist. I said yes. The preist came in prayed over my son and he sat up. I found out in my sons records it stated he sees dead people, he is not ill he truley does see spirits. Very Odd for a hosp. to put that in ones records. We walked out of the hosp. with everyone and I mean everyone who stopped in their tracks whispering. One woman saying thats the boy who really sees ghost. I just looked at her and she looked afraid. Not sympathetic, just afraid. I wanted to cry but had to be strong for my son. I cried alone later. All I could think of was how is he handling this as I am a nervous wreck at times. I felt bad. My son however seemed to handle this gift with a strengh I know someone had to be giving him. And for that I was thankful.During this process, the Investigators gathered and reviewed all the information from the medical testing that had been done previously and found that these tests only confirmed what we knew all along, that Michael was completely healthy. The medical testing and the results of the photos and tapes finally did get the attention of the Bishop, who then agreed that Michael was in the early stages of possession, oppression. From that point on, things began to move rapidly.An excorcism was conducted, His first he has had 5 total;  after which the media became involved and our story went public. I had many TV stations parked in my front yard 20/20, date Line, prime Time Live and many more were asking for the exclusive leaving notes in my mailbox. It was quite scary. It was at this time that I found out the Investigators were the ones who contacted all the media themselves in fact got a speeding ticket getting to one station. They wanted the so called fame. They told me many things on why I should answer them as you see as I slammed the door on the faces. From to help the Bishop the media was mocking to you want to defend your son. ahh a mom who would do anything to protect her son. I did not know until after that they were the ones who turned us in to the media. the investigators who, up until now, had proved to be so helpful suddenly changed. They told me; not asked me to sign away the rights to our story and life. Upon refusal to do so, they withheld the photos and tapes of the investigation. And became angry at us. They told me if I did not sign away my rights they would write a book and change our names anyway. I taped these conversations.  I think they forgot that my whole life story was already copyrighted through my attorneys office. It was then we needed that attorney and that is what I did. I am still unable to obtain even copies of this very private information. We were still experiencing horrid activity.   The Investigators would not respond to us or the attorney who represented us. We had trusted them with our very lives, so understandably we were all hurt and confused by thier reactions/actions. I am thankful to the investigators for their part in our contact with the Bishop but once again, we were all alone. BUT now I am thinking this is a good thing. I needed to fix this myself.  It was then I decided I needed to help my family and that is just what I did. I read and learnt everything I could. I knew then I did not need the little documentation those Investigators had as I got it myself and then some. I recorded everything I could. I needed to learn. When My son was being chocked by unseen entities I recorded it, when in his paralyzed states I recorded it and so on. I have the proof many want. As time went on, the idea for the L.I.F.E. Foundation took hold very quickly. With the help of the public, media contacts and my attorney I have found many reputable Paranormal Investigators throughout the United States and other countries. In every State, help is available to you! We have investigated each of their credentials before asking them to come aboard. We regret, however, that there were some who did not meet with our rigorous criteria, primarily based on their lack of experience. or unethical ways of Investigating, not caring for the families involved. The number one thing to be a good Investigator cares for the family before themselves.  The Investigators with lack of experience Eventually we hope to welcome them aboard. Everyone starts somewhere and if it is in your blood to help you know it and I have met some Investigators who have only been out a year or two who I personally thought they had the knowlegde of Investigators for many, many years. They have the heart! Their references from the families they helped were wonderful. They are aboad the Foundation. It is all about the family.I met John Zaffis by refering a few cases to him and we became instant friends and he would come over and watch my son as well as witness things in the home and with Mike. John would help him loose some of the fears he had. John gave my son someone he could call or rely on if he needed someone to talk to. John became his mentor his safe haven. As well as mine after years of dealing with helping I started going on some of the cases as the families stated they wanted me to go with some of the Investigators as we bonded while I trying to get them the help they needed. John and I started going on many cases together, traveling the US for many years. We had  helped many. Please feel confident that any investigator recommended to us is of the highest reputable quality and will function in a completely professional and discrete manner. IF they do not please contact me and I will Investigate it. I have had a few change as years go on who is no longer aboard the Foundation. Now in 2008 Michael still sees,( earthbound, Demonic, Angelic and on and on )  hears, feels entities We have learned a lot over the years. Michael has been blessed with many gifts and sometimes Michael ignores the visitors. However when doing this The Spirits get angry and will  not let him ignore them often and they act up. A lot has happened after my book was released. I will finish the sequel soon. ( working on it ) One of Michael's new gifts is visions, although he does not get them often when they come they are quite clear. He is not afraid anymore. Michael has had 5 exorcisms that helped him. When it comes to  Michael he is different then most. He is gifted with many gifts that collide together, Many have one or two. some can see entities but not hear them. Some hear them but do not see them. Mike has all the gifts from seeing to hearing, feeling, visions, seeing energy and on and on. You cannot exorcise a gift. BUT when he is being hit, chocked, scratched, or something enters him via channelling that he did not invite or want an exorcsim helps him to be free of the torture.Mike at 20 now has decided to help the entities who are in need. Until now we have kept him away from haunted areas as well he gets enough by being home, going to a store, walking on a street or going to a friends home. He will now help others and will do this with me his mom, Steven LaChance , tracy bacon as well as John Zaffis, Tim yancy and Many more. Filming maay 2008 Haunted Survivors The series. Mike needs to trust people and to do this he has to meet them and use his gift to see. He trusts The Booth Brothers he feels like they are family and feels they wont exploit him and show him in a possitive way as well as the families and this was the only way Mike would do any show. I am proud of him and looking forward to him helping the families and spirits.Mike was very upset over the Movie The Sixth Sense. Based on his life. He felt they made him look like a nut talking to a DR that did not exsist. He says he knows wether they are dead or not. Okay maybe because he went to an array of DRs they came to that scenerio. Mike had a hard time watching the movie and walked out of the theater in less then 10 min of it airing. It was like seeing your nightmare on the screen for all to see he was horrified. I am not sure if he ever watched it again. Mike would see the dead on the side of the road like in the movie and sometimes kids in packs , he finds that unnerving. The Movie was pretty Close to what he experienced. He does not like to be called Mike the boy of the Sixth Sense as he said he wants his real story without Dr and all the truth as the truth is scary enough. No need to add in any fantasy. Mike is doing pretty good, he has had 3 stalkers, girls who are quite scary. One will be sentenced May 08 for trying to run him off the road to kill him, you know if I cant have you no one will. As well as she robbed many homes. We have protective orders on her but with one of these girls a paper is just a paper to her. He has a wonderful girlfriend at this time ( next week who knows lol ) but this one seems like a keeper. I approve I hope she lasts a long time.Mike has had it quite hard. He is however learning a lot, he is getting ready for something big and it will be nice to see him happy, just happy  I Thank You for all the support and emails. Michael will be 20 in Nov. 2007 and will figure out all his gifts in his own time and help people in the Series. Many have asked why Michael is having this problem and why has the Exorcisms not helped. Again You Can Not Exorcise the gifts he has. When Michael was scratched, hit and so on the Exorcisms did help to stop this and give him some relief. Michael seems to have many different gifts and trying to figure out which is which and what to do for him is hard. He will figure it out. Just living life he will learn. He needs to listen to himself and not everyone with their opinions as many seem to give them, so many different teachings. He needs to learn this one himself. I know 4 people who I feel could help Michael in the US, Only 4 he and I trust. If it is Gods way we will be near them. And Mike will learnLove & Light to all.Remember, you are NOT alone.
