Learn French with the French! All of our instructors are native French speakers, from France and other French speaking countries around the world. Another reason to learn with is: the Alliance Française believes immersion is the best means of learning French and we owe our success to that philosophy. In our school, students enjoy a simultaneous cultural and linguistic education. When you walk through our door you'll feel like you are in another land!
Alliance Française of Minneapolis/St Paul is first and foremost a cultural center. It provides the opportunity to enrich an individual's experience and to heighten understanding of French life, history and culture in addition to those of the many Francophone countries around the globe. The Alliance Française opens these doors through a wide range of lectures, exhibitions, performances, movie screenings and various clubs that meet in our building and all around the Twin Cities.
As an AF Member an impressive collection over 4,000 books, journals and magazines awaits you. You can choose from what is the largest selection of French publications in the Twin Cities area. The AF also offers an extensive collection of French films on video cassette and DVD for members to check out. Other benefits of becoming a member include Le Courrier, our quarterly newsletter, Les Nouvelles de l'Alliance Française, our biweekly e-mail newsletter and many select discounts in boutiques and shops throughout the Minneapolis St Paul area.
