To perpetuate the memory and the spirit of the men and women      who achieved American Independence; to promote the development of an enlightened public opinion; and to foster patriotic citizenship;    -- these are the objects of the Society,       Daughters of the American Revolution. Welcome to the Delaware State Society NSDAR website! The Daughters of the American Revolution is a national society. NSDAR Membership Requirements

Any woman eighteen or over is eligible for membership if she can prove blood lineal descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence in one of the following ways: 1. Signed the Declaration of Independence 2. Military Service 3. Civil Service 4. Patriotic ServiceInterested in becoming a member? Please contact one of the chapters listed above or the State Registrar.

The National Society, Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) has membership requirements similar to the DAR.
