Governor Nancy Miller Announces “Just One” Program 2008-2009 Membership Growth Recognition Program District 1-2-3  Recognition Progarm : 1st Place – 2 Winners –2010 T/O Convention (Registration and 2 Nights Hotel) 2nd Place – 1 Winner – T/O District Life Membership 3rd Place – 3 Winners -- $100.00 Kiwanis Gift Card 4th Place – 4 Winners -- $50.00 Kiwanis Gift Card 5th Place – 6 Winners -- $25.00 Kiwanis Gift Card Other Recognition:             All Divisions with PLUS MEMBERSHIP (Kiwanis International figures) at the end of September, 2009, OVER September 2008, will earn for their Lt. New members must be recuited between October 1, 2008 and September 30, 2009. (Must be existing charterd Kiwanis Club and all new member fees must be paid.) 11,777 in 2009   2008-2009 Club Presidents Congratulations!  In just a few days you will become the leader of your local Kiwanis Club.  I wish you the best during the upcoming Kiwanis year. Enclosed you will find information concerning the 2008-2009 Membership Growth Program.  Governor Nancy is asking each Club in the T/O District to use the first meeting of each month as “Bring A Guest To Kiwanis” day.  Governor Nancy’s goal for membership growth is for each current member to recruit “just one” new member during 08-09.  To do this, each club should have a Club Membership Chair as well as a Membership Growth Plan.  As you begin your year, try to make membership growth fun for your club.  Have a contest – whatever it takes – just do it! Ki-Notes Deadlines and Guidelines Deadlines for the remainder of the 2007-08 administrative year are: April/May issue: April 1 June/July issue: June 1 August/September issue: August 1 We prefer pictures and articles be sent via e-mail. Pictures should not be embedded in articles or any other document formats. Articles should be sent in Word or simply written in the e-mail message block. Pictures should be sent as a separate attachment; in JPG or TIFF format, with a resolution (dpi) of no less than 175–200. All pictures sent may be color. Those who do not have the capability to transmit via e-mail may still use USPS. The mailing address is Ki-Notes, P.O. 130, Lone Grove, OK 73443. Accompanying all articles and photos should be the name of the club, a contact person and their phone number and/or e-mail address. We publish all information received as long as it pertains to Kiwanis.
