DREAM . BELIEVE . ACHIEVE Fellow Toastmasters, welcome to the 2008-2009 Toastmasters year. I am so excited to serve this year as your District Governor. You, the member mean so much to me. Over the years, I have learned so much from Toastmasters like you and Toastmasters International. I still look forward to learning more. Now, it is time for me to give back to you as much as I can from my experience gained along the way.You have a great opportunity to build your communication and leadership skills while enjoying yourself as a member. At the same time, you are able to demonstrate those skills you learned in the past. If you are a new member, watch out! You are going to have so much fun and do things you never thought you could as you achieve your personal goals.Toastmasters International has developed a unique continuing educational program with a focus on you, the members. Your manuals are an excellent resource for you. Tremendous information and guidance is available on everything from individual projects, definitions and illustrative examples. As you work on your leadership skills and concentrate on your personal path to success, I believe you will achieve your goals, help other members reach theirs and of course, assist your club in reaching its’ goals.
