Historically, members have been drawn mainly from Australia and New Zealand; the society has also attracted members from Britain, North America, Scandinavia, and elsewhere. The society is affiliated with ISCHE (International Standing Conference for the History of Education), and maintains contacts with similar associations in other countries (Britain, North and South America), both formally, through the Executive, and informally through its members’ scholarly networks. The society publishes History of Education Review. The Society is governed by an Executive elected by, and from, the members at the annual conference. It also usually includes co-opted members from each region or state in Australia and New Zealand // JavaScript must be enabled to display this email address.
