It is the largest national coalition working to defend and strengthen the federal Clean Water Act. Members in the Network receive monthly news bulletins, legislative alerts, and educational materials.  The Network also hosts events, trainings and regional workshops on topics of interest to the membership. Hot Off the Press... Make a Splash at Clean Water Week 2009 Clean Water Week 2009, the Clean Water Network's A-List event, is set for February 24-27th in the heart of Washington, DC. Clean Water Week '09, the Network's biennial national conference, is a time for members to network with colleagues from across the country, participate in policy discussions and attend topic specific trainings. The event features sessions on organizing, coalition building, public outreach efforts and strategic planning.   CWW concludes with a day spent lobbying decision makers on Capitol Hill. A Capitol Hill reception will take place the night of the 26th to recognize clean water activists who have gone above and beyond in their work to protect our nation's waters. This year's early bird special registration rate is $250. Please note that travel scholarships are available to dues paying members of CWN on a limited basis. To sign up for Clean Water Week click on the following link and visit the registration page. https://www.regonline.com/63356_655800S Don't Miss Out! Log onto CWN's Hip New Facebook Page Today! To help increase outreach and public awareness efforts on clean water issues, CWN has launched a Facebook page.  We invite all Network friends and supporters to click on the page and become a fan of the Network.  CWN is also interested in your feedback on the page as well as ideas for the future. We hope to be able to use this new tool to communicate more effectively with clean water activists across the country.   Please email all suggestions on the page to gordonculver@cleanwaternetwork.org.
