A PAGAN ROCK OPERA FOR THE NEW MILLENIUM
After seven years of research and three years of composing, a rock opera has been completed, based on extensive historical study and past-life memories. INANNA - THE OPERA is set in ancient Sumeria and tells the story of Inanna (Ishtar), the goddess of war and passion. It explores her rise to power, and transition from a goddess of love to a goddess of war over several thousand years; a transition caused by the changing attitudes of her worshippers. The opera also tells the tale of Inanna's loss and rediscovery of her lover, Dumuzi.
