 Our Mission
Hillside Chapel and Truth Center, Inc. is a healing ministry of the whole person: Spirit, Mind, and Body. Our sole purpose is to teach people - regardless of race, ethnic background, creed, or color - the practical approach to Truth (Christianity) as taught by the Master Teacher - Jesus the Christ.
We are dedicated to the spiritual transformation of the entire planet. We are committed to being a point of empowerment allowing Spirit to direct every thought, word, deed and action for personal transformation. Our purpose is to serve as a spiritual community making available the Aramaic (the language of Jesus) translation of the Bible to all people by fostering their spiritual, cultural, and general well-being and to provide facilities for public worship, education, and fellowship.
1. We affirm the omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent and omniactive loving Presence we call God and we celebrate this Presence in spirit and in truth.
2. We affirm that God is personal to all who acknowledge this indwelling Presence.
3. We affirm that there is only one power, one presence and one source for all life; therefore all humanity forms one family and one life.
4. We affirm that whatever thoughts we hold in consciousness manifest and become our life experiences and that these thoughts create our heaven or hell.
5. We affirm with Jesus of Nazareth that the Kingdom of Heaven is present and within us and that we experience this kingdom of all good to the degree that we become conscious of it.
6. We affirm that God is love and that love unites everyone of us.
7. We affirm that Jesus of Nazareth, as the living Christ, represents the perfect spiritual self of every human being.
8. We affirm that Jesus the Christ, through his life, teachings, death and resurrection, made the great demonstration that revealed we are victors and not victims of our circumstances.
9. We affirm that prayer is not begging or trying to change God but is a positive way for expanding, changing and transforming ourselves.
10. We affirm that through faith, truth and understanding we can heal ourselves spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically and that we can live an abundant life.
11. We affirm that the Aramaic translation of Holy Scripture provides a clearer understanding of the characters, culture and events of the times and a meaningful metaphysical application for our lives.
12. We affirm the direct revelation of Truth through our intuitive and spiritual natures and that anyone reveal Truth who lives in close union with the indwelling presence - God.
13. We affirm that Jesus' apostles also represent twelve spiritual powers within us (faith, love, strength, wisdom, power, imagination, understanding, will order, zeal, renunciation, life) and we utilize these powers for daily living.
