at the Texas State Capitol on President's Day, 1994, and we have
been active ever since. We are citizens who are tired of the continual,
piecemeal destruction of the right to own--and use--firearms and
are doing something about it.

kinds of things the founding fathers said, you would be called
a right-wing anti-government nut!
Have you ever wanted to pin Sarah Brady down on something
she has said so you could prove she is a liar? This is the first
lengthy quote of hers we have been able to obtain, so here's your
chance! One volunteer laboriously transcribed this speech
which she delivered in Austin in October of 1994; we put it here
for your general use.
"All the law enforcement agencies in the country asked
for help on the assault weapons ban. So I supported it."
- President Clinton, Speech at the Univ. of Montana, May 31, 1995.
This just goes to show that Clinton lies about much more than
sex. In fact, when it comes to guns, you cannot trust anything
the man says. Remember hearing how every law enforcement organization
in the nation supported the ban on "assault weapons?"
Well, the fact is that many major police organizations came out
in opposition to Clinton's gun ban; it's just that the news media
failed to report it. Here's a list you
never saw the news media publish.
President Clinton often uses "photo-op cops" to
give the impression that police support his gun control schemes
like the Brady Bill. Here are two actual police surveys that show
quite the opposite: SSPBA and NACOP.
This is yet another example of how the news media not only failed
to report the truth, but has assisted an anti-gun politician in
mis-representing the truth.

ideas about guns--because they believe what they see in the movies!
Gun control laws have racist roots. There have been quite
a few law review articles and books that discuss how the first
gun control laws in this country were used to keep blacks unarmed
and servile. Example.

We have heard this accusation thrown at us many times. This type
of accusation is ironic because the Nazis were the ones who used
gun control laws to disarm the German public and consolidate all
power in the hands of Hitler's government; precisely the
danger we argue is the reason we want an armed populace: to protect
our freedoms from the government. If the term "Nazi"
applies to anyone, it is those who push for gun control. For example,
the first major federal gun control law in this nation, the 1968
Gun Control Act (GCA), was copied, some parts verbatim, from the
Nazi's Weapon Law of 1938! There is a book published by Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership
(JPFO) that documents this fact by setting forth the full texts
of both Hitler's gun control law and our own 1968 GCA.
Want to see proof that firearms are used over 2 million times
each year to stop crimes? Here is an interview
with the author of the study that is the source for that statistic.
He discusses how he got the numbers he got. The study itself was
recently published in the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology,
Vol. 86 (1995).

One company makes money publishing books summarizing gun laws
for lay people. Anyone who thinks that guns are not regulated
enough has no clue as to the mountain of law that we gun owners
have to worry about complying with, (most of which have no impact
on criminals either).

is essentially Texas' version of the NRA.
GOA - the only no
compromise organization in DC.
Canada is suffering currently from some new and very draconian
anti-gun ownership laws; here are two Canadian organizations fighting
for the cause: the FFF
and the ICBFA.
Dallas area people might want to join the Dallas Arms Collectors Association.
