I have been reading past livesprofessionally for 14 years and work with people who are interested inthe idea of reincarnation, and who want to look at their past to gainmore insight into their present experiences.Many people have found that knowledge of their past lives is healing.It can provide insight, increased awareness, and a deeperunderstanding of the nature of Self.With this page I've tried to give my personal view on my past lifereading process and information on past life regression. We will come back to earth to workout the satisfaction of that desire.The Upanishads Some Case Examples of Past Life Readings  How we use the knowledge of past lives to undestand currentrelationships or clear issues is not always methodical. Since I beganmy readings, I have seen many different repsonses from clients to pastlife information. Some people have had immeditate shifts in eithertheir physical or emotional bodies, while others had shifts overlonger periods of time. I have also seen that some have only to hearthe information to make these shifts, and yet others have had toconsciously intergrate the past life with understanding and forgiveness. Iam not sure how and why it works this way. Reoccurring MigrainesA few years after I began reading, a woman came to me who hadmigraines for 4-5 years and wanted to see if accessing any of her past lives wouldgive some her some relief from them since conventional medicine hadnot helped. I saw one of her past lives when she was a man duringthe Spanish Inquisition, and he was tortured for his beliefs, dying apainful death. I felt it was important to relate to her in detail herlast thoughts about God and about the friends that betrayed her, asour thoughts at the time of death carry forth and create thecirmcumstances of a future life. She wrote me soon afterwards to saythat a few days after the reading, her migraines had completelydisappeared. I heard from her again a year later to tell me that shewas still free of them. A Feeling of Being Disconnected From LifeI read for a women who wanted to know why she had always feltdisconnected from life. I saw that in one of her past lives she had lived in England and in1944 had lost both her brother and her fiance' within two weeks ofeach other in WWll. She was terribly devastated and had gone on tolive a secluded life. I heard from her about six months later and shetold me that right after the reading, the feeling of beingdisconnected had left. She had also researched WWll 1944 veterans andfound her brother's name, which I had told her during thereading. (Although I don't usually focus on names and physicalcharacteristics, sometimes that information comes through in thereading.) A Rabbit MysteryOne of my most interesting past life readings was one in which afemale client wanted to know what her relationship with her son, heronly child, was in the past. She told me no other information abouthim. I saw that he was angry and she agreed, saying that she thoughtit was due to his father leaving him at an early age in this life. In looking at arecent past life of theirs together, however, I saw him in a ruralsetting, standing beside a rabbit cage with 18 pet rabbits, all named,and all loved by him deeply. I saw his mother in that life, who wasalso his current mother, take 6 of his rabbits, over the course of ayear and cook them in a stew for dinner because the family was verypoor. She didn't think he would notice that a few of them weremissing. But he did notice and he had to eat them silently, thinkingthat he couldn't say anything about it. He held in his hurt and anger. I then asked her about hisrelationship with rabbits and she replied that he had about 20stuffed rabbits, all named and that he slept with them, keepinghimself between his bedroom door and them. She said he would carrythem around the house, in baskets covered with napkins, to hide themfrom her. Asking me what I thought she should do, I suggestedthat she apologize to him, to his Higher Self. She said she was goingto even get him a pet rabbit. As I never heard from her again, I amnot sure whether they worked out the hurt and anger from thepast. It's even possible that the drama between them isn't over inthis life and may carry forth into future lives together until theycan reach the place of love and forgiveness. Emotional Conflicts ResolvedI have found in my past life readings that two people can have unresolvedemotional issues over the span of many lifetimes. This was the caseof a woman who came to me because she she had exhausted all the usualmethods for resolving the conflict between her and her ex-husband. Shewanted to know their past lives to understand what the deeper underlyingissues between them were. In this life she had immigrated to theU.S. and left their two girls with him in Mexico, with plans to havethem come live with her when she got settled. However, her ex-husbandhad changed his mind and wouldn't even allow the girls to speak withher by phone, much less travel to America. When I accessed her pastlife with him, I saw that they had been in competition with each otherfor leadership in a tribal setting, about 500 AD. She (as a man inthat life) had won and her husband had been a sore looser. I told herto write him a letter acknowledging all the times in this life wherehe had excelled in leadership over her.) His attitude shiftedimmediately; he resumed communication with her in a congenial way andlet their two girls go live with her. Stomach Pain ClearedSometimes an issue will clear that is unrelated to the intentionalquestion brought to the reading. This was the case of a man whowanted to know his past life with a particular woman in his life. One ofthe events that I saw in his past was that he had shot another man inthe stomach because of jealousy over the woman, although he did notkill him. My client contacted me a week later to tell me thatstomach pain he had all his life had disappeared after hearing thestory of that past life. Before the reading he had not mentioned hispain - it wasn't a question that he brought to the reading. I wassurprised that this had happened just by hearing the information; itgave me further acknowledgement that I am not sure how the whole issueof past life karma works. Perhaps, it was just time for his to clear.  Questions.... What exactly is a past life reading? How does it differ from past life regression work? What is the purpose of reincarnation or rebirth? What is karma and how does it manifest? Why doesn't Christianity accept reincarnation? Can anyone remember all of their past lives?
