Finally...Goodbye, CCAC
Friends!
As you all know, after almost
eighteen years of providing assistive technology services for
the greater Charlotte
region
and beyond, Carolina
Computer Access Center's Board of Directors has made the difficult
decision to begin corporate dissolution proceedings. Losing
our partnership with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools was a major
financial setback from which we have been unable to recover. Exhaustive
explorations for alternative funding sources and/or mergers have
proven unsuccessful.
Distribution of our remaining
physical assets is complete. All items and funds have
been sold, donated, or committed to individuals with disabilities
and organizations serving them.
Once again, on behalf of the CCAC Staff and Board
of Directors, we extend our tremendous
appreciation to all of you who have been a part of this organization's
journey.Our many successes could not have been attained without
you. May our paths cross again one day soon.
