(and, to a lessor degree, Richard RAYMOND who came even earlier). Also
contains information about James RUMNEYMARSH WISER, a grandson of Nanapashemet, the
Grand Sachem of the Massachusetts Federation of Native Americans in the early
1600s. Personal histories of many Mormon Pioneers and early Utah settlers are

"William Wood's Map and Description of New England in 1635." This interesting
map of the Massachusetts bay shows where Sagamore John and Sagamore James lived. John and James
were uncles of our James Rumneymarsh Wiser. The map shows deer island, where James and other
Christian Indians were held during King Phillip's War.

Frost, Martha McKinney (1825) - Joined church
in 1841, present when Brother Woodruff healed sick with handkerchief of the
prophet. Present when B. Young assumed mantle of the prophet Joseph. Left
Nauvoo in 1846. In May, Heber C. Kimball company, arrived Sept. 25th, 1848.
Her husband at the time, George Langley, built the first adobe house in Salt
Lake City and was the first person buried in the Salt Lake Cemetary.
