JOHN EDWARD McCARDELL1974 - 2000
On Monday, June 19, 2000 a heinous crime was committed. Young John McCardell was shot to death at his home while watching his children. This community lost a vivacious, energetic, animated, and God-fearing young man. Jewel lost her son, Melissa lost her love, we all lost a friend, but worse, far worse, three children lost their father. Kortney 4 years, Jaylin 4 years, and John Jr. 6 months old will never have the guidance, dicipline, support, and most important, love that only a father can give. A Memorial Fund has been established to help do what John no longer can do. Please help give these three children a fair chance in life.
