Thank you for coming to our page. My purpose for creating his page is to make a request on behalf of my Beloved Mother.
As a result of an auto crash and concurrent heart attack on 9/11/2001, Mom has endured massive facial and skull fractures, which took months to heal sufficiently in order to under go open-heart quadruple by-pass surgery. After the surgery, Mom was non-responsive for 4 days. A respirator was the only thing between her and death. Mom then was admitted to a skilled care facility for rehabilitation. There she did not adapt well, became extremly ill, and returned to the hospital for two surgeries, a large ovarian cyst and a blockage of her colon, resulting in a complete hysterectomy and colostomy. After returning to the Skilled nursing facility, Mom suffered from repeditive bouts of conjestive heart failure, de-hydration, pneumonia, symptoms of dementia , bed sores, mal-nourishment, and depression. At that point I had seen enough to know home was the best place for Mom.

Mom is now 80 years old. She has been through more suffering in the last two years than anyone should ever have to endure.
"I've spent the last two years of my life at her side caring for her needs around the clock."
We have struggled through many difficult times- times I never thought we would endure, but we got past them. Mom and I now have been faced with what seems to be an insurmountable obsticle. Over the past two years, all of the resources we both once had have become nearly depleted. Our Family has deserted us, on some occasionshave become aggresive toward us. Moms two daughters and her grandchildern won't even call her. I have tried everything in my power to obtain enough money to provide Mom with the needed handicaped equipment. Used equipment that will provide a somewhat normal quality of life. As I said before, I have tried everything I know of to get Mom the equipment she needs, except this one last way - asking the careing people like you, from all over the world, to extend a helping hand, from your heart to hers.
